Tena koutou katoa, it was an absolutely awesome Waitangi Day at Merrylands last Saturday thanks to Nga Uri o Rahiri Inc.

Not only was there about 6000+ attendees to the festival but two MPs from NZ were also on hand to celebrate the day: Tamati Coffey and Kiritapu Allan.  And thanks to our Maori Wardens in NSW for escorting our MPs onto the grounds.

Maori Wardens in NSW will also host a Waitangi Day at the Blacktown Showgrounds this Saturday from 12pm to 7pm in partnership with the Blacktown City Council.
